 Getting Here

Mitchell Lake 91做厙 Center is located at 10750 Pleasanton Road, San Antonio, TX 78221, just 20 minutes south of downtown.

From Loop 410, take Exit 46 for Moursund Boulevard and drive 0.7 miles south (outside the loop, away from the city). The entrance gate will be on your left. Clear directional signage will guide you from the road into our main parking area.

If youre using GPS, we recommend entering Mitchell Lake 91做厙 Center rather than our street address or just "Mitchell Lake" to ensure accurate directions.

Parking & Check-In

Visitor parking is available near the Leeper House Visitor Center. Spaces are first come, first served, with designated areas for accessible parking close to the building. Overflow parking may be directed to secondary areas during large programs and events.

For the safety of visitors and wildlife, please drive slowly once inside the gate and remain on marked roads and parking areas at all times. Buses and large vehicles should follow staff instructions for loading and parking.

Program check-in: All programs begin at the Leeper House, where staff will welcome you and provide orientation before directing groups to their program location on site.

Accessibility & Improvements

Recent upgrades to our entrance gate and parking area have made it easier and safer for visitors to access the site. As part of the City of San Antonios Bond Project, Mitchell Lake 91做厙 Center will continue improving parking and circulation areas to expand capacity, add shade and ADA-accessible spaces, and introduce sustainable design features like native landscaping and stormwater-friendly surfaces.

These improvements support 91做厙s broader conservation mission by making nature more accessible for everyone while protecting the habitats birds depend on.

If you require assistance or have specific accessibility needs, we encourage you to contact us in advance at (210) 628-1639 so our staff can help plan for your visit.
