Teen Volunteer Conservation Corps
Are you interested in wildlife or conservation? Join our volunteer crew where you will get hands-on experience with conservation work at the Bent of the River and, as a bonus, earn volunteer hours for school. The Bent of the River is a hub of conservation work and a designated Important Bird Area. We have 700 acres of protected land that contains habitats like meadows, shrubland, river, wetlands, and mixed forest. Learn and help with our nest box monitoring, invasive plant management, checking trails, and so much more.
Every other Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. If you are interested, please fill out the application form and contact Senior Coordinator Community Conservation Programs Allison Middlemass at allison.middlemass@audubon.org or call 203-405-9115 x115
