Selecting one of Californias strongest conservation leaders to head a premiere state program, the 91做厙 today announced that Sarah Rose has been named executive director of 91做厙 California. Rose will also serve as vice president of the 91做厙.
Rose comes to 91做厙 from the California League of Conservation Voters and CLCV Education Fund, where she currently serves as the chief executive officer. Her first day at 91做厙 will be Feb. 5.

With its track record of accomplishments across policy, on-the-ground conservation and community engagement, 91做厙 California is positioned to help make a real difference when it matters most.
An insightful strategic thinker with valuable relationships across the states political sphere, Rose is broadly credited with leading the California League of Conservation Voters as a formidable legislative force. She also served as the organizations executive vice president and political director before departing the organization to join the Western Conservation Foundation as California director. Prior to that, Rose built a solid reputation as a campaign manager for candidates in California and across the country.

Sarah lives in Berkeley with her husband, Brian, and two daughters. Experiencing Californias great outdoors is one of the great joys of her life, particularly skiing in the Sierra Mountains and hiking through coastal redwoods.
