Today the U.S. Senate confirmed Gina McCarthy as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Before the confirmation, McCarthy was serving as Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation. Former 91���� Chief Operating Officer Bob Perciasepe has been Acting Administrator since February 15, 2013.

“The EPA has long been a strong partner in protecting Florida’s iconic wildlife and special places,” said Eric Draper, 91���� Florida Executive Director. “91���� Florida is eager to work with Administrator McCarthy on improving water quality in the Greater Everglades and throughout our beautiful state.”
