Kathryn Bernard

About

Kathryn is the GIS Specialist of Conservation for 91°µÍø Great Lakes. In this role, she conducts spatial analysis, using maps, data and modeling, to inform and communicate around 91°µÍøâ€™s conservation work across the Great Lakes region. 

After working in healthcare IT, Kathryn decided to pursue a career in conservation. Most recently, Kathryn worked for The Nature Conservancy in Wisconsin supporting their GIS and conservation data programs. 

Kathryn was born and raised in Northern Virginia. She holds a bachelor's degree from University of Virginia, and a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in GIS and remote sensing for environmental conservation.
